Enjoy an evening of Antonio Carlos Jobim’s most memorable melodies as performed by the Ken Kehner Quartet. Experience arrangements that feature unique feels, funky grooves, and radical reharmonization quite different from Jobim’s original intent. Along the way, the quartet will pay tribute to the jazz greats Wayne Shorter and Brad Mehldau, among others.
Ken Kehner is an active performer, educator, and clinician. He holds a degree in piano performance from Truman State University where he served as staff accompanist and later joined the faculty as a jazz instructor.
