STOP THE BLEED STL
"There will be a training session for trauma first aid held at Trinity Episcopal Church 600 N. Euclid on July 10th from 4 until 5:30. The training is free; first aid kits that include a proper tourniquet will be on sale for $10. Medical personnel across the country are training regular folks to be able to respond to an acute bleeding incident, whether from gunshot, car accident or other causes - much as many people have learned how to perform the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR.
"The Stop the Bleed team here in St. Louis is led by Dr. Laurie Punch, a trauma surgeon at Washington University Medical Center. More than 3500 people in St. Louis have already taken this training - why don’t you join the ranks! Registration is required - stopthebleedstl.org “
